Church School 

Instruction is available to preschoolers through eighth graders Sundays from 9:00 to 10:15 am (September to May) in the lower level.  Church School music director: Marla Stephens, Church School Choir sings once a month on the 4th Sunday.

The church school students' curriculum, entitled Seasons of the Spirit, is based upon the revised common lectionary (a three year cycle). The curriculum is purchased from United Church Press, one of five publishers/ denominational partners who helped develop it. In addition, the learning goals/standards established by the Board of Christian Education on 02/10/03 continue to be implemented.

Heifer International

Every fall, the church school students hold a bake sale. The purpose is to raise funds for our mission project, namely Heifer International. Heifer International is a nonprofit organization working to end hunger and poverty by giving food- and income-producing livestock to impoverished families around the world. Co-sponsored Child

Church school continues to co-sponsor a child with the Outreach Committee through the UCC child sponsorship program. Our sponsored child is a five year old girl who attends school at Rawdat-El-Zuhur in East Jerusalem. (For more information on the UCC child sponsorship program, go to www.nwoa.org/childspn.htm.
